Mission Statement

St. Stephen's was founded in 1944 as a member of the universal church of Jesus Christ and a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Canada serving our local community.

Our Vision is:

"We believe the Holy Spirit is guiding us to a renewed and vital ministry centred in Jesus Christ, and building on our strong roots in our local community. We envision St. Stephen's as a vibrant place of worship, of learning and of support within an ever growing Christian community."

In support of this Vision, our mission is:

To grow in faith, hope and love
To proclaim the Good News of God's love for the world
Through regular worship, the use of prayer, preaching, praise, the sacraments, and teaching to make known the forgiveness God offers to all people
To support one another in Christian love as we face life's joys and challenges
To build and demonstrate our faith through service and witness leading others into the church.
